Blue Tigers Win Four Races at Sam Williams Twilight Qualifier
EMPORIA, KS -- Aaron Wilmore posted the best time in the MIAA in the 110-meter hurdles, leading four members of the Lincoln men's and women's outdoor track & field team who won races at the Sam Williams Twilight Qualifier. The meet, one of the last opportunities for athletes to qualify for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, was hosted by Emporia State University on Saturday.

EMPORIA, KS -- The Lincoln men's outdoor track & field team won seven races and set four atuomatic qualifying times on the final day of the MIAA Outdoor Championships en route to a third place overall finish on Sunday. Sabiel Anderson led Lincoln with three wins while the Blue Tigers combined for 19 overall top-eight finishes during the three day meet, which was hosted by Emporia State.

Butler Community College submitted 61 new nurses into the field Thursday night as the Spring 2012 class was presented with its pins in the gymnasium at Butler of El Dorado. The graduates have completed the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing and are eligible to take the Registered Nurse licensure test in the state of their choice.

Local youth invade Dodge for rodeo festivites
This past weekend Dodge City Roundup again hosted a great rodeo. No it was not the PRCA rodeo, but the contestants competed just as hard. From the looks of the rigs they drove, they want to be in the big time.
