LEXINGTON, N.C. (AP) ? A Davidson County commissioner has been accused of driving a motorboat while impaired and failure to cooperate with police. The Dispatch of Lexington reported ( http://bit.ly/JlLEjT ) that 47-year-old Todd Yates was stopped by an officer with the Wildlife Resources Commission who saw his boat speeding in a no-wake zone of High Rock Lake.

Officers with the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested three men and two women and seized a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory that was being operated at a home on Longview Street near Lexington.
