Clyde E. Matthews, 88, of Lorain, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Avon Oaks Skilled Nursing Facility in Avon, following a long illness. Mr. Matthews was born in Lorain on February 2, 1924, the son of the late Agustus E. and Elva Mae (nee Cheney) Matthews.
