    He talked about it for years with his friends and teammates. Last Friday, Cody Maher didn't need to daydream anymore. The explosive running back for the best football team in School of the Osage history will continue his playing career this fall at Central Methodist University. Maher had a signing ceremony Feb. 3 in the School of the Osage library.
    Osage Beach offers reward for tip on stolen skid steer
    Someone took it from a construction site two months ago. OSAGE BEACH, Mo. -- City police ask for the public?s assistance in locating a 2006 Case 450CT with loading fork that was stolen two months ago. The skid steer was stolen between 6 p.m. on Dec. 5 and 8 a.m. on Dec. 6 from a construction site along Missouri 42 in the area of the intersection of Lake Road 42-3.
    Car hits wall at school near Osage Beach: 2 windows broken, driver barely injured
    OSAGE BEACH, Mo. -- A high school student driving a car, struck the corner of Upper Elementary School on Wednesday morning. The crash knocked out two windows at the school. The nearest student in the school was about 15 feet away.
    Osage boys struggle on defense in home loss
    The School of the Osage boys' basketball team couldn't get the defensive stops it desperately needed in the second half and ultimately fell 77-72 to Hallsville on Thursday night. Senior forward Mack Murray had a career-high 23 points, including four first-half 3-pointers, but it was the other end of the floor which doomed Osage.
    Osage girls shut down Hallsville
    It's not every night that you can post a 20-point win against a state-ranked team. The Osage Lady Indians almost did just that at home on Thursday. Hallsville made it close at the end to avoid a blowout, but Osage was impressive nonetheless in a 42-33 victory.
