Henry ?Hank? Ahrens, 81, passed away Jan. 11, 2012. Hank was born Feb. 15, 1930 in Decatur, Ill. At the age of 18, he decided to join the Navy. After being discharged in 1950, he was called back a year later to take part in the Korean Conflict as a Gunners Mate 3rd Class aboard the U.S.S Helena.
